South Wales-based pensions and financial advisory specialist Seer Green has won a major contract with UK-wide recruitment business Acorn to enrol its staff into a new pension scheme in line with the Government’s auto-enrolment legislation.
Newport-based Acorn, which has offices across Wales, the South West, North West and London, is part of the latest tranche of companies to enter the new workplace pension scheme, which every business will have to takepart in by law.
Seer Green, based at Newport’s Celtic Springs Business Park, has led the way in Wales in rolling out the auto-enrolment programme and is currently working with a number of different companies, helping to register hundreds of employees enrol onto their new workplace pension schemes.
The Acorn Group has almost 270 permanent staff to be signed up to its workplace pension scheme. But the biggest challenge will be ensuring the company’s thousands of temporary agency workers are also included.
